Customer said he'd take me to non-touristy place for good meat and wow this place did not disappoint. You get to it under a motorway flyover, take a ticket and wait until you are called which took us 25-30 minutes but this place is always busy and you can only reserve a table if you are a member. The restaurant is rustic but the staff are excellent and the meat is out of this world. 100% recommended.

The place might be a bit "far away" but it is 100% worth it! I have eaten at a lot of place in Baires but this place is just AMAZING!!!
The quality of the "carne" is excellent and one of the most authentic places for Argentinian BQQ -> go and enjoy it!

This is not a tourist place, this is where porteños go with their families or friends, and it's a good definition of how an Argentine Parrilla should be.
Be prepared though, the place is nowhere near the usual touristic places in Buenos Aires, as a matter of fact is almost at the city limit, but since the place has recently became a bit of a success, any cab driver will know where it is and will take you there.
And unless you arrive at 8pm sharp for dinner, you'll have to wait for a table, maybe up to 1.5 hours.
But it's worth it. Definitely worth it. Great food, I had the bodiola de cerdo (pork neck fillet) and it was delicious! My wife had the matambre (flank steak) which was also very good. A couple of my friends had also the matambre, but presented in a different way with tomato, cheese, olives and more, and even though I didn't try it, it looked really good. And my other firend had the biggest whole piece of vacío (flank) I ever seen served on a single dish. Impressive!
Our waiter was one of the best I had in years! Very friendly, spot-on with their suggestions, and subtly funny in a way that you would only understand if you're Argentine, or at least have an excellent command of Spanish.
There's not only parrilla, the menu has probably more than 100 dishes, including many different kind of milanesas, pasta, fish, some seafood.
Desserts are another whole chapter! Many choices, from huge things to share among many, or individual portions. I had a dulce de leche ice cream WITH dulce de leche, but just because I'm a dulce de leche lover. Other friends had the brownie with ice cream and Bailey liquor, or the traditional "postre vigilante", dulce de batata (sweet potato jelly? this is something that almost doesn't exist in Europe, so I don't know how to call it in English) and cheese.
All in all, great place (don't expect any luxury), great food, great experience.
If you're a meat lover and come from Europe or North America, you MUST come to El Ferroviario and have the time of your life.
