Unique designs and head stones. Can be a spooky place surrounded by head stones. Some very important people are buried here.

It is a must see of Buenos Aires and most of the tours include this place. How long you stay depends on how much time one has to study architectural details, beautiful statues and other monuments. Eva Peron’s tomb is, of course, the highlight of the visit.

History buffs will love to read about Argentine history on
all the tombs Eva Peron and husband etc. For some it might
be a little eerie . Local cafe all around la Recoleta and safe !
It's also free to the public .

There are a million reviews on this so not much to say. It's worth checking out... most likely you've never seen anything like it. Very safe area (that goes for everywhere we walked in Recoleta). Plenty of things to do in the general vicinity... bars, cafes, a shopping mall that has a currency exchange booth on the third floor.

loctaed at recoleta quite close to the city. Besides thge tomb of Eva Peron, there are new and neglected tombs of the rich and famous. Quite an interesting walk .
