Nice place, cozy. At night, fixed menu. You can choose among two starters, three entrees and two deserts. So not much variety. Food is OK but too pricey given quality / variety. Service is excellent though. Better options of price/quality are available.

We were quite disappointed with Tigre. Granted it was a grey day in early May - probably not the best time to visit - but the river-front appeared to be all fast-food outlets and chain restaurants. Taking a wander through the side streets, we came across this restaurant, which is also a lovely gift shop. The place was bright, clean, tastefully decorated with a good atmosphere..The food was delicious. I had a homemade leek tartlet which was a perfect lunchtime meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

A must go during summer, to enjoy the terrace. There are great things to buy as well, from paintings to furniture.

We had a decent lunch in an interesting space. The restaurant also sells art, antiques and gift items (think candles, soap, etc). Beautiful space and light. The rucola salad with pear and blue cheese and the dessert were great. Our main dish of pasta filled with butternut squash was filling but lacked finesse. Great location - the street is filled with other art stores and vintage shops.

Everything is spectacular, even the basket of delicious bread. Fix menu with two or three choices. Deserts are nice but compared to the heavenly mouth melting first and seconds not as bright. You might prefer choosing the wine you'll order instead of having the house wine that comes with the menu. Another thing address on tripadvisor is not the correct one for this splendid place. In stead it is located on Boulevard Saenz Peña 1400. Tigre. Menu by Juliana Lopez May one of the top chefs in Argentina.
