Well, what can we say about Manas Park? ............ we’ve been coming to Olu Deniz for 18 years and this was our first time at this hotel and definitely won’t be our last - wow!

Keeping it brief and to the point:-

Grounds and pool areas - scenic, peaceful and well maintened, with the most comfortable sun beds you will find anywhere!!!!
Rooms - various options available, ranging from adequate to luxurious, depending on your requirements
Food and drink - good selection of tasty meals and snacks, something for everyone. Also a 24 hour garden bar :-)
Staff - polite and helpful for the most part, special thanks to Bilal and Gorkan for really looking after us.
Olu Deniz sea front - only a 10 minute walk away, (20 minutes back, up the hill, lol!), or a couple of pounds in a taxi.

Just a couple of niggles that would make this hotel perfect:-

Although we were moved quickly, we were initially put in a room that had clearly been damaged and was still in a state of repair - this should never happen as it was totally inadequate and nobody wishes to start there holiday complaining :-(
There was also an issue when checking out as the all inclusive bands were removed at the same time, (not good when you check out at 12 and are not leaving until much later in the day). Although we didn’t have this problem ourselves.

Overall a wonderfully relaxing holiday and would highly recommend!

Thank you Manas Park!

Elaine and Mark

A nicely presented hotel with some great views in a decent location for a relaxing get away but it does have some areas for improvement.

I've just returned from 11 days at Manaspark and me and my partner enjoyed our time there. We went for a relaxing break before winter and got it, for the most part.

Location - the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk away from the Ölüdeniz strip and beach which is basically just a mini, mainly British tourist centred area but with the addition of lots of things to do with paragliding as this is a big draw for the area. There were paragliders in the air all day, every day we were there. The hotel is situated on a hill itself up from the town so if not fit, the walk back will take an extra 5 mins on the walk to town. Also the slope within the hotel grounds is quite steep, though there are stairs for half of it, my 20w pregnant partner did struggle a little so keep this in mind.

Facilities - We booked a deluxe room as reviews had shown this was the newer side of the hotel and it was worth it, the rooms were fairly spacious, well decorated and appointed. There was good air con, a rainfall shower and a big 40 odd inch satellite tv, though only about 3 English channels out of literally thousands, not that this bothered us. The bed was of a good quality as was the bedding but you do only get a thin blanket so make sure to set the air con appropriately. There is free wifi here and it reaches every single part of the hotel with ease, even about 30 foot off the property into town though the connection can be spotty at times and wasn't exactly fast, it was a nice bonus that it had such a reach.
There is a little kids area down the bottom of the hill but we didn't really look at it though I did see a few kids down there at variois points.
There is a little shop on site selling little bits and bobs like cans of pop, crisps, sweets, pool accessories and single packs of cigarettes though this shut half way through our visit, I am assuming given it was literally at the end of the season and looked like it was being refurbed over the winter.
There were rooms on new and old side with private sunlounging areas but these were overlooked from bars/pool areas so didn't see the point in them so much. Half of the old side also faces directly into the restaurant so I'm glad we picked the newer side.

Food - There is a reasonably sized restaurant for the size of the hotel but in our last few days, coach loads of people seemed to appear for a night or days and then disappear which meant the restaurant was full to the brim and we even had to go away and come back once due to no seats being available. The quality of the food was ok, mostly meats in sauces buffet style with a few fresh cooking stations for pasta and varied meats/one desert station in the evening though the quality of the cuts of meat could be lacking at times. There is also a cold savory section with things like olives, pickles etc. Deserts were all what I assume was Turkish as none were labelled, some were very nice and some were very odd but it was a bit of a lottery, the fresh cooked desert was usually quite nice like pancakes or apple fritters. If you have a picky eater in your company you may struggle as my partner did, she had to mainly eat bread and some form of plain meat, which wasn't easy to come by at times, even at breakfast unless she went to the snack bar which serves burgers, pides and chips at certain times of the day. Breakfast is also a bit of an area lacking thought as there were generally a few types of egg, bread and the same sort of spiced sausage cooked every day with just a few cold meats and cheeses and unlabelled cereals.

The service in the restaurant however was it's biggest let down, there were generally around 3 - 4 waiters on for the entire room and they would help Turkish speaking guests before any others so generally, if you wanted a drink, you would have to walk to the serving hatch yourself and get it despite others getting table service. There is supposed to be cutlery, water and glasses on each table but as these were used and cleared, they were VERY slow to be replaced, if at all, so if you were not first in the restaurant you could sometime go without even water for the whole meal and have to ask for a knife and fork if you could find staff as there were none out to take anywhere. Also the staff idea of cleaning a table between users was to take all of the utensils off and then shake the table cloth onto the floor, then put it back on the table, not exactly the best as not once did I see that floor mopped in the 11 days we were there. This is one of the main areas that needs its standards improving massively for this hotel to hit the next level.

Pools, bars and entertainment - Generally, the pools and bars were kept clean and were presented well, the sun beds were very plentiful, very comfortable and a fresh towel was provided each day on each bed so there was no need for your own beach towel (unless going to the beach or taking a boat trip) and we never had to fight for a sunbed in a decent location, even going down after lunch. The pools are both completely unheated and in October, freezing though, colder than the sea by a good few degrees, refreshing but you have been warned! There is also a grassed area by the garden bar with swinging seats, hammocks and big bean bag type things dotted around which was a nice place to go.and chill with a drink and look at the view.
The bars serve Tuborg lager, branded fizzy drinks, a couple of fruit juices (very sugary at the garden bar but not the pool/terrace bar), one brand of red and white wine, hot drinks and some local spirits that were ok included in the all inclusive deal. They did seem to have some branded drinks for an additional cost too but I never saw the need to try them. The garden bar is open 24/7 which is quite a nice novelty but I imagine could be an issue if there are any guests that have too much to drink and get rowdy at the bar as you can hear loud voices from there in the rooms if the balcony doors are open, especially at night.
There is music piped around the place all day at a reasonable volume, it's the same 60 or so songs repeated for the most part but was pleasant enough. The entertainment in the day would normally be water polo/darts/ping pong etc but as we were at the end of the season this didn't really happen as there were rarely enough people about in the day. The entertainment on the night varied, there was a big stage on the one side of the garden bar where there was an 'acrobatic/Latin dance show twice, traditional Turkish dancing, karaoke, an instrumental singer and another local singer whilst we were there. The dances were good as was the male singer but the female was murdering every song she sang, it was painful. They also showed Grease one night on the big screen and tried to show Mama Mia another night but the internet wasn't good enough. The only real issue with it however was the fact that it was piped loudly through the speaker system and regularly went on until midnight, now I am always up past then anyway but even with the balcony doors shut, it was still of a volume that my partner could hear and kept her awake at times which is a bit silly, surely the volume could be reduced and those at the bar would easily hear.

Although I have pointed out a few negatives in this I would like to point out that this is me finding fault, generally the hotel is the best in the area, in a good location, has friendly staff (some of which do struggle with English which may be why they prefer serving Turkish speakers, but they all know enough to be polite and serve you correctly), has great views and both me and my partner have said we would visit again in the future despite the little issues as you could see they were trying to improve the place (owner was visible on site, all day, every day) and given the cost, this place is great value for money at that time of year. With a few tweaks and the owner continuing to take the place forwards I can only see it improving year on year.

Just returned from a 8 night stay at this great hotel. Great for families and couples. From the first night the staff (Murat thank you) couldn't do anymore, we arrived through the night and they made us food which helped with the bar drink to settle us in. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and modern, bedding, towels etc changed daily. All staff were attentitive and friendly. Bilal in the restaurant especially. Food was very good but we still ate out a couple of evenings for a change. All areas were very clean and the pool area very relaxing. Sunbeds had memory foam so extra comfortable. Highly rated and recommend a visit. Just several minutes easy walk to the beach. Many thanks to all the staff, the owner who was there several times ensuring everyone was taken care of as well as the general manager. Would visit again! Thanks

We booked this resort hotel on the recommendation of a work friend, after initially putting us in the wrong room we we were put in a better Standard room, which was spot on, great view and the room was in good order, staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the two pools and bars are great, meals are fine, lots of choice, snack bar and cake & coffee afternoons. Shower water on a couple of occasions was not hot, but I put that down to demand. Evening entertainment was ok, Turkish night on Friday been the best. A little wall to town 700 meters but there’s a shuttle supplied if you don’t want to walk. On the hole we enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from manas park, we arrived around 10pm and it was lovely having a drink at the garden bar and having a snack at the snack bar. We stayed in a superior room
Which was ok but could be doing with some decorating and new flooring. The shower was a pain because there was no pressure so trying to wash long hair took a long time, it went from hot to stone cold.

We loved the pool area and how relaxing it was, the hotel was fully booked yet you could take your pick with a sun-lounger and wow they were so comfy.

I struggled a bit with a dodgy funny for 3 days of our stay so I was careful with what I ate, there was plenty of choice but some of the food we found had no flavour but we always managed to eat something.

The staff were very nice around both pools, George was very nice and Ally certainly entertained us all.

We had terrible weather on Saturday so we all kept dry in the garden bar and played bingo, the place was flooded but the staff worked hard to clear all the water.

We asked for a late check out and we were offered to keep our room until we needed it for 100TL per person which was well worth it.

Thank you to all and we hope you all have a very well deserved rest at the end of the season.
