The hotel is very nice, the food is delicious and the beach id beautiful.
There is a lot of things to do, tennis, gym, Land of legends aquapark, bazaar, night shows, beach bars....
We spent a week there.

Just returned from spending 10 nights at the rixos in belek. Fabulous hotel with everything you could wish for in the way of amenities, three things let this hotel down from a british guests point of view. One the food is mainly geared up to suit the Russians and Turkish very little in the buffet restaurant to appeal to british guests. They do have other restaurants which you have to pre book which is almost impossible to do as they are so busy. Number two issue is the staff, they are hard working and try to be as helpful as they can but speak very poor English one evening I had two waitresses and the supervisor all trying to figure out what I wanted to order which was a bottle of coke and a glass with ice, now in a five star hotel I’d expect the staff to speak basic English they seemed to understand the Russians perfectly well. And the last thing is the evening entertainment it was in my and lots of others pathetic in ten days we had one decent show which was the Michael Jackson tribute which was fantastic but that was it. I would not recommend this hotel to british people.

We stayed 2 weeks in Belek, one week at Rixos and one week at Papillon Ayshea. Completely different hotels, however, the Ayshea hotel had far superior customer service. I feel that the customer service could be improved. First impressions are important but check in was extremely slow and I don't think anyone was bothered by this. Bad first impression.

The toilets were dirty and no sanitiser and no toilet paper in one instance. The room could be a bit cleaner too. For example, the bins looked a bit dirty and the balcony was covered in bird poo. Also stains on the carpet. Also the smoke alarm (?) was hanging off the ceiling. In the canteen one mirror was covered in dirty finger prints for days.

We were looking forward to exploring the shops as on site. However, the pricing was all wrong. Minimum 50% higher than regular prices AT LEAST.

The first night I didnt sleep much as the walls are RIDICULOUSLY thin and our neightbours had a newborn baby. I could hear the man whistle and almost the whole conversation.

The restaurant has a fabulous range of foods and the quality is very very good. Everything is made on-site. However, the main restaurant is huge and feels like a staff canteen. It is very very noisy, not relaxing at all. We discovered lunch at the Italian a la Carte and that as MUCH better. We were THE ONLY PEOPLE dining here at lunchtime. Fabulous service. A better idea for dinner too as it is super relaxed and you dine al fresco. There is a water show you can watch while having your dinner. Highly recommended. Avoid the canteen! The only issue with the canteen one evening I had a splitting migraine type headache. I am extremely sensitive to MSG and felt I had eaten a small amount of it. Luckily the next day I felt good. Maybe good idea to label possible allergens.

The mini bar in the room is well stocked and replenished daily. Wine and fruit upon arrival is a nice touch. And the fruit replensihed daily.

On day 3 we came back to the room and a TV appeared on the wall. We didnt think there was one. Apparently there was no remote control in our room so we called up for one. It was useful for information about activities and my son watched some cartoons.

At the hotel you get free access to Lands of Legends theme park and this park is amazing. Highly recommended as brand new and very quiet. No queues at all. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the theme park. The bus conductor was amazing at his job, very friendly. The theme park is suitable for all ages, my 4yr old loved it. He went into the pool with the dolphins which we paid a small amount for. Well worth it. The dolphin show was good fun too.

We hired a large sunbed on the last day and we found this to be a great experience. V easy to book. Small charge but worth it if going to beach for day. You can leave your things and not worry about hogging space. Great for families.

We went to the spa and this was a good experience, recommended. Regina was super nice and I booked in again with her. I loved the grapefruit seed body wrap. The steam room was wonderful as super hot and very clean and well maintained.

Overall, positives were the quality and range of healthy foods which was impressive. And the spa was wonderful and the beach bed. Land of Legends was a wonderful experience and the shuttle bus service is first class.

However, the place could be slightly cleaner, the customer service could be a bit better, the canteen a bit more relaxed / quiet, and thicker walls in the bedrooms. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday the Ayshea is a better option. If you like lots of noise and people, then this hotel is what you are looking for!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool benefit from the water show daily at 9pm. Possibly better option than partial sea views!

Every year I come to Turkey for holiday, and we keep changing hotels, however Rixos is outstanding, definitely will come back. Hotel staff is professional. Design and atmosphere is very positive. Spacious areas for swimming and resting. Various fitness program really helps to stay in shape for the rest of the stay. Animation deserves extra attention for compliments, the same as sport academy. Thank you Grigori for teaching me how to play backgammon.
