Had the pleasure of staying here with my family this June 2015 - 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We arrived after a hectic journey to a beautifully inviting home and were met by the property manager who went above and beyond to help us out on our arrival.
The property was much more spacious than we had imagined, and is very well maintained with clean fresh rooms, all with ample sized en-suites and contained everything you could possibly need in a property on holiday.
Set on a hill the property is close enough to the local Areal Breach (5-10min walk) yet tucked away enough to offer the peacefulness needed on holiday not to mention stunning views from every room of the coastline.
Lourinha Town is a must visit, it quaint, pretty and typically Portuguese. There are plenty of restaurants in and around town and the local fish cuisines are to die for.
Car hire is essential for getting out and about exploring but you very quickly work out the local area.
Personal tip: check out the local mini market/coffee shop at the bottom of the road from the property. Run by a local family this place is a find, not only will you be giving your euros to the local community, but it’s a much more pleasant way to enjoy living amongst the local residents, plus they do they serve one the best coffees in town, and they'll also bake your morning bread to order daily!
Go explore, discover what gems Lisbon has to offer and unwind at the end of your days with the sun setting on this lovely property beside a quiet pool.
