“Picknick”
Reviewed 13 February 2017 via mobile

The Gourmet Picknick is excellent and the Wines outstanding.

The surrounding is Not the very best. There are more sophisticated Estates around. But the abovementioned Picknick and Wines are worth a visit.

“5 star Big 5 Wine Safari”
Reviewed 10 February 2017 via mobile

We were taken out by Marco on the Warwick Big 5 wine safari.

We clambered into a Land Rover joined by one other couple and with Marco telling us to hold on, off we set into the vineyards.

The safari was informative and relaxed, lovely mountain views and good wine. Marco was a very knowledgeable tour guide.

A very enjoyable experience- highly recommend.

“It can not get more relaxing”
Reviewed 5 February 2017

Superb gourmet picnic once more, all 11 guests were perfectly happy, this time seated in the courtyard, service good, wine good, all good, we are planing the next get-together already.
One criticism though, two of our guests went inside for wine tasting and both returned and said the service was unfriendly and not forthcoming.

“Child friendly, good wines”
Reviewed 5 February 2017

Warwick is a very child friendly wine estate with two playgrounds, big lawns and water fountain. We bought picnic baskets, the food was very good but a bit overpriced. The wine were well above average. All in all we had a good experience here and will come again.

“Don't rely on automation, Warwick.”
Reviewed 4 February 2017 via mobile

The gourmet picnic at Warwick is a lovely experience, and our visit today would have been sublime bar the glitch that the automated booking system forgot there was a wedding on today...! So, instead of getting our specially chosen picnic spot on the lawn, next to the lake, we ended up on a narrow strip of lawn next to the "working end" of the farm. As it was, it turned out the wedding only started at 16.30, so technically we could have been accommodated, and enjoyed the game of petanque we were so looking forward to.
Admittedly, we did get a free bottle of wine, but only because I insisted on some form of compensation for the inconvenience.
Aside from this major "oops", and a setting that was not nearly as nice as the main lawn, the food was very good. Service was "iffy", and mostly, I suspect, because we were so tucked away out of sight.
Bottom line, really not good enough guys, especially given we were only notified of the automated "blip" at lunch time the day before. Such a pity at a usually delightful venue.
