Staying here for two nights. First and lasting impression is the warmth of the service and the desire to provide personal service. Room well equipped, double aspect, good bathroom and comfortable bed. Great breakfast in reception area, good lounge area, excellent access to the main shopping, bars and restaurants. Tip - arrive early if you are driving to get free parking at rear of hotel!

If you are looking for a hotel which is in walking distance from the centre and a lot of restaurants this should be you choice. Winery tours are inexpensive. It is advised to do them without your own car.

Situated very nicely for restaurants and shops, easy walking distance. Very small rooms, no space to move around but it was clean. The bed was too soft it gave me a bad back though! Very tiny safe - could not fit iPad in.

Located on Dorp street an east- west corridor close to the university. Nearby are many good bars and restaurants as well as the museum and botanical gardens. From the welcome at check-in to the service at breakfast nothing is too much trouble. The small outside area is an oasis of calm - a good place to read. Ladies at Eendracht keep up the good work!

We had an excellent 6 night stay in the Eendracht Hotel. I chose it because of its central location as we didn't have a car and we wanted to walk to the attractions and restaurants in town. Our room was very large (Room 1) with triple aspect and a juliette balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and decoration was of the highest standard. A small niggle was the lack of drawer space and we would recommend getting rid of the writing bureau in favour of a chest of drawers. The bathroom was large and well appointed with a big walk in shower and a corner bath. The best thing about the hotel were the extremely helpful reception staff. Hazel was amazing finding a taxi driver for us at very reasonable cost. Thanks Hazel. Adrian ended up taking us from Franshhoek to Hermanus and Hermanus to the airport!! Breakfasts were lovely too. Pity the pool area is so small and little space to relax but still a great place to stay.
Room tip: Room One - big and comfortable first floor overlooking large car park noisy in the morning/evening rush hours

Stayed 3 days in this central Stellenbosch hotel which is in the historic area and close to everything you need for your stay. Wine tours are easy to arrange from here. Everything is in easy walking distance. Hotel comfortable and caters well for a short stay. Especially liked the large modern bathroom. Downside was there is more traffic than you would imagine in what appears to be a small town. Probably even more busy when the students are back during term time.
