We stayed for 4 days in the Eendracht Hotel. We were in room 6, which is the room with the balcony on the front. The balcony was great allowing us to relax in the evenings and watch as the world went by on Dorp street. Our room was nice enough with WIFI and all of the usual amenities including a fridge. Some rooms open directly onto the pool, others are situated in the main part of the hotel building, all rooms that we saw were a reasonable size with some nice period furniture. The hotel does have a small pool with limited seating. It also has guarded parking in a quiet car park at the rear of the hotel. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but does have a limited bar in the 'lounge' beside reception. Breakfast was served in a nice room at the front of the hotel, there was a good selection of cereals and fruit salad with yoghurt. Juice and cold cuts and cheese were also in plentiful supply. Cooked food was also served with nice bacon and spicy sausage (wors). Omelettes were large and well filled. we had a problem when a porter damaged our luggage, but after a brief exchange of disappointment, the staff were able to get the luggage repaired. Our only other comment was the cost. I do realise that this was a town centre hotel but it was exactly twice the price of several other similar standard places that we stayed in South Africa.
