Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to South Africa. What a lovely pretty hotel with beautiful gardens. The 2 pools were a real bonus. The hotel was within a very easy walk into the centre of the town. The staff were really lovely so happy and attentive nothing was too much trouble. A welcome glass of wine on arrival was a nice touch. We had a great room with a small balcony, a very spacious bathroom. Would highly recommend this little gem.

The River Manor is almost to good to be true. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome.

Maxwell took us on a tour of the property and served us with ice cold Sauvignon blanc why we waited a few minutes for him to take our bags and check our room.

Our room (18) was on the top floor it was spotlessly clean and large with a wonderful bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower.

This was truly a wonderful find and will be our go to hotel in Stellenbosch.

What a lovely hotel! Staff are amazing. We had the most friendly welcome. Beautiful setting and only a short walk to the town. Can’t recommend enough. Lovely honey and sesame sausages for breakfast! We stayed in room 14 which was a little dark for me. But a nice large room on the ground floor.

Such an awesome experience to visit an establishment booked online with huge expections, and actually have it exceed what was envisaged! All I can say is WOW!

The staff are incredible, the place is immaculate and attention to every fine detail in place.

I travel to Stellenbosch fairly regularly and this will be my 'go to' place moving forward. Can't wait to be back.

Highly highly HIGHLY recommended!

Beautifully presented hotel with an old colonial feel to it. Excellent breakfast with a great selection/choice. Staff bent over backwards to advise and arrange restaurant bookings with recommendations. Very close to the old town with an easy walk to the restaurants and shops. Two small swimming pools to relax by with nice sunbeds. Large bedroom with a huge bathroom.
