Absolutely beautiful views and grounds – wonderful, family run hotel. Lovely pool, yummy restaurant, awesome small bar area/lounge with great selection. Stunning views from outdoor patio area, incredibly friendly and a helpful staff.
We did not know the hotel , and we were really surprised . It is absolutely beautiful , a magnificent view over the Devon Valley, a lot of charn and everything is very pretty and cosy . Rooms are well appointed and the whole hotel has a particiular charm.
We arrived at the hotel,after being on Queen Mary for 21 nights,We were blown away with the service,attention we recieved which was equal to the standards we had recieved from Cunard,The receptionists,the staff serving food,the wine waiters,manager,and housekeepers,were absolutely fantastic,always a smile no matter when we were greeted,we even had help contacting the airport re our flight home,they went a step above and beyond ,which we were very grateful for! Our room and the hotel was spotless clean,I have stayed in Spiers,but this hotel in my eyes was superior,I would highly recommend anyone thinking of going to Stellonbosch in South Africa to make this their first choice! Absolutely first class,I think the owners are very fortunate to have staff of this calibre! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable! Jane Innes
A peaceful secure little haven, lovely gardens, view and swimming pool. Good food. An efficient and reliable shuttle service. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends
We have stayed here many times in the last 10 years, always in a Vineyard Suite. They were lovely when new-ish but now are looking a bit tired and we had problems with water filling the bath and leaking from the shower. There was also random additional furniture dumped in the room when we arrived, which we had to remove, most odd.
It's such a shame as many things about the hotel are really lovely - the staff are wonderful, the pool is an oasis and breakfast on the terrace is a treat.
It has made us rethink our next visit to the area, sadly.
