Wonderful warm welcome, the room was very comfortable with special thoughtful add on in the bathroom, like cotton and thread rusks with our coffee and best breakfast in the morning- omelettes were incredible. Great location close to centre of Stellenbosch. Will definitely be back and recommend The Avenues.Thank you :)
Little gem of a place along the river. I had business in Cape Town in the week but came through on Sunday morning to spend the day with my daughter studying in Stellies Bernice was kind enough to invite my daughter for breakfast the morning I checked out... Very special! Will definitely recommend.

We were walking distance to restaurants, botanic gardens, shops and US , and sport fields.will stay again

We needed a reasonably priced bed and breakfast within walking distance of the town and close to the Paul Roos sports grounds but we also wanted a bit of old world charm. The Avenues more than met these criteria: a beautifully restored old home, perched on the edge of town, with a river path leading to both destinations. With a warm welcome and a hearty breakfast, a well-stocked honour bar and neat rooms with crisp linen, what more could a short-stay traveller ask for?

I really enjoyed my stay at The Avenues, I felt like I was home and went about my business as if I was operating from home. The rooms are clean, with very nice amenities. and really warm service especially from the Manager.
