We returned to The Avenues for 3 nights for this year's Woordfees. Tanya was an efficient hostess as before, breakfasts were beautifully presented, rooms were clean and well appointed, mattress good. We were happy with the rates as well and plan to return with visitors from the UK towards May/June 2017. Go down the right avenue (Die Laan) to The Avenues!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Avenues Guest Lodge,the staff were extremely helpful and the food was excellent.Althoug the room was on the small size,the bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was of a high standard.The room was very clean and I would certainly recommend this Lodge to friends and family.Tip-have the address on booking.com corrected to 'The Avenues'so you can find it more easily.
Very friendly staff, we had a free upgrade to the outside building upstairs ( very clean and nice room with a very good separate shower) and with a nice view over the garden.
You can easy walk to the centre of Stellenbosch ( only 10 minutes) and park your car before the guest lodge.
We enjoyed a short overnight stay at your guest house, nice and cool on a hot day.
A great breakfast choice in the morning, taken out on the verandah.
The staff were very helpful and polite.
We will come and stay again when we are back in beautiful Stellenbosch.
