Always a pleasure to eat at Helena's! The staff - KG and Tutu helped us this time - are always friendly and helpful, treating returning guests like friends. The food is well presented and delicious! We've sat on the stoep watching the passers by in summer, but today we sat in the warm diningroom. We'll be back!

We came back to stay here again this time because we enjoyed it so much the last time. This is truly a boutique hotel, with such charm and great service. The beds are so comfortable, and the bathrooms have heated floors! The breakfasts were delicious with a great selection of choices for cooked or continental. Dinner here is also a dining delight, and many people book here for dinner who are not hotel guests. That says a lot about the chef here. Muzi remembered us from our last visit, as he is a huge country music fan and we all sang together in the bar one evening years ago. All the staff are excellent. The location is perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance, shopping, and plenty of coffee shops and wine bars. Very convenient location.

Facility and staff are wonderful. The breakfasts were beautiful; had to take pictures of them. In the heart of town with access to shops, cafés, dining, spa's, and The University of Stellenbosch. Healthy vibe and short hop to the surrounding vineyard estates.

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the fantastic service offered by the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and can’t do enough to help you enjoy your time at Coopmanhuijs. Dinner at Helena’s is a must and breakfast each morning was plentiful and very tasty. This is a very special place indeed and lives up to its reputation with ease.
