From start to finish our experience was faultless. From emailing with Eileen when booking to the tour itself with Stephen. We booked a private full day tour and were picked up from our hotel in a lovely car and experienced 5 vineyards. The tour was based around our preferences and we liked that we visited smaller businesses rather than the big ones where the experience can feel a bit more mechanic. Stephen is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine which really made a difference to our experience. Would highly recommend Tsiba Tsiba if you want to experience the fabulous vineyards of Stellenbosch.

Four of us were recently on a TsibaTsiba tour of vineyards in Stellenbosch with Stephen Swanepoel as our driver and guide. It was an excellent tour in which we took in three vineyards plus lunch. What made it special was the knowledge of Stephen and the lovely places he took us to.
I have previously visited many of the large vineyards in the area and always felt I was just being processed as a standard visitor. In comparison Stephen took us to small family owned vineyards where we received expert individual attention. It is definitely worth paying a bit more to receive this level of service

With over 160 vineyards in the Stellenbosch region alone, local knowledge is vital to make sure you visit the special vineyards that are sometimes off the beaten track and away from the road traveled by the big tour buses
This is our specialty,we have over the last 11 years built up a special relationship with owners and wine makers as well as front of house staff who always greet us as friends and ensure we only get the best personal service from them.

Having used Cape Wine & Leisure Tours 10 years ago had no hesitation in booking our 2019 tours with them again. Our first day comprised tastings at excellent boutique wineries Oldenburg, L'Avenir, Thelema and Ken Forrester - the only blemish being a universally dreadful luncheon at Guardian Peak.
Our second day involved a private Four Passes trip which covered many interesting locations including the splendid Iona Estate as far east as Elgin near Hermanus and spectacular coastal vistas.

The wine tour normally visits many restaurants depending on where we are in the wine country. We have in the past only had great reviews of this particular restaurant but maybe we need to revisit and see what has changed
