Fantastic wine tour 😎

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Stephen. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine and it absolutely shows. Best day of the holiday. I'd recommend a private tour. Learned alot and drank some fantastic wine and the views are out of this world. 👌

Wine Tour

An incredibly interesting and rewarding experience. Our guide Coleen, was charming and extremely knowledgeable tailoring the tour to our specific tastes. Fantastic value and highly recommended.

Great knowledge and lovely choices of vineyard

Four of us were recently on a TsibaTsiba tour of vineyards in Stellenbosch with Stephen Swanepoel as our driver and guide. It was an excellent tour in which we took in three vineyards plus lunch. What made it special was the knowledge of Stephen and the lovely places he took us to.
I have previously visited many of the large vineyards in the area and always felt I was just being processed as a standard visitor. In comparison Stephen took us to small family owned vineyards where we received expert individual attention. It is definitely worth paying a bit more to receive this level of service

With over 160 vineyards in the Stellenbosch region alone, local knowledge is vital to make sure you visit the special vineyards that are sometimes off the beaten track and away from the road traveled by the big tour buses

This is our specialty,we have over the last 11 years built up a special relationship with owners and wine makers as well as front of house staff who always greet us as friends and ensure we only get the best personal service from them.

Reliable Excellence

Having used Cape Wine & Leisure Tours 10 years ago had no hesitation in booking our 2019 tours with them again. Our first day comprised tastings at excellent boutique wineries Oldenburg, L'Avenir, Thelema and Ken Forrester - the only blemish being a universally dreadful luncheon at Guardian Peak.
Our second day involved a private Four Passes trip which covered many interesting locations including the splendid Iona Estate as far east as Elgin near Hermanus and spectacular coastal vistas.
Thoroughly recommended.

Thank you for your review of our sister company. I must agree the Four passes tour is such a beautiful trip with many spectacular sights and a great variety as well.

The wine tour normally visits many restaurants depending on where we are in the wine country. We have in the past only had great reviews of this particular restaurant but maybe we need to revisit and see what has changed

Incredible Day with Eileen

My wife and I booked a Private Wine tour with Eileen and were absolutely thrilled with the result. Eileen was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable we certainly did not want to part ways at the end of the day. Given our tour guide's familiarity with the region, we were privy to some incredible sights and amazing wine and food.

Eileen brought us to some incredible places where we were helped by courteous and passionate staff. Having her alongside us was even better as she often provided even more history and facts about the wines, regions, and vineyards that we were experiencing together. Everywhere we went, people not only knew Eileen, but were happy to see her. She introduced us to our (now) favorite producer in the world. And we hope to join her again for another tour sometime soon.

Eileen is extremely organized and communicative, we highly recommend you try her service.

Thank you so much for your Incredible review ! I am humbled by your review.it is so uplifting to know that our clients are experiencing something out of the ordinary when they book a tour with us.

Of course a Private Tour allows us to dive off in the deep end and personalize the day for you but I firmly believe (and I use this adage myself when I travel that "Local is lekker" )

To book a tour with a local company that knows the region and people and has built up a strong relationship with their associates can only improve your experience and I am glad this came through on out tour.
