It is virtually unheard of nowadays to get personal attention from restaurant owners. they all appoint managers and other staff to look after the patrons. At Barrique you will get a visit from either owners Karin or Peter, a little chat, a suggestion on a particular dish or something extra to accompany you meal. The serving staff were efficient and unobstrusive. Nothing like the usual every 5 minutes, "is everything ok" sitting with you mouth full of food! I had the oxtail - Sumptuous and more than enough, and my wife had the linefish duo with calamari. Absolutely stunning! The desserts looked attractive but just not enough space left to work that in as well. I like that the restaurant supports the surrounding farm's wines
