The cloud is a very comfortable and elegant location. We liked it very much and especially the views from the garden with the pool was splendid. Service was also very good. There was only limited parking, when we arrived.

This was our third stay at Clouds and it will not be the last. We have always stayed in the villas. This time, as "our" villa was booked for one of the nights, we stayed at the standard room. Turns out that the room was great and the views unbelievable. The rooms come with a complimentary mini-bar stocked upon arrival which is a great perk. This time we had breakfast included (which was not the case in previous stays). Breakfast is delicious and it has various options. The eggs benedict were divine. Service was very good and it was came with big and warm smiles. The one thing I still don't quite like is that the pool for the villas is super cold. It would be great if it could be heated. Other than that, I can confidently say that Clouds is our accommodation of choice when in Stellenbosch. We just cannot get enough of the views and tranquility the place offers. Another perk is its proximity to Tokara, which is, hands down, one of our favorite dining options in the area. I 100% recommend Clouds.

We stayed at the Cloud Estate for 3 nights for a friends wedding at another estate just down the road. The hotel itself is quite relaxed and chilled, the staff were very friendly and courteous, and when we arrived we felt welcomed. However, the staff are very laid back in their approach to serving the guests. I requested drinks and food which took forever to arrive, and the food itself is very poor and not the standard of a 5 star establishment. I ordered lunch on one of the days and it took 45min to prepare and then they got the order wrong (after I had chased them for an update twice and asked them to verify the order) The breakfast was also poor on both days which I mentioned to the staff.

The hotel is beautiful though and the location could not be better. One of the major benefits is it's proximity to the Delaire Graff Estate which has better facilities and restaurants (but a hell of a lot more expensive)

I recommend the Cloud Estate to tourists who want to wake up to the best view in Stellenbosch. I am sure the food issues will be sorted soon.

It was just perfect my time in Cloud Estate! The staff, the view, the food, the atmosphere....the place is private and so beautiful! I really want to get back soon! The staff was too kind! And the location is also pretty good to visit other wineries!!!

Clouds Estate is a beautiful place. Location is simply unbeatable. Situated in the midst of lush, green wineyards, hills and mountains and with a view of another world!

Rooms are spacious, well equipped and bathrooms are huge. Good beds. Big terrace with nice furnitures. Complimentary mini bar.

Common areas are also very nice. Lots of space. Lounges, sofas, outdoor sunbeds... all very nice and good quality.

Food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Staff also very nice. Friendly and smiling. What some of them lack in professionality they compensate in hospitality! :)

Another great thing about this place is their cooperation with neighboring estates like Delaire Graff and Tokara. Both in walking distance, and both with other restaurant options. We had meals at both of them, and they were really good. But so were the meals at Clouds, so not really any need for eatling 'out'. Of course, if you're staying many days, a little variations can be nice. Tokara also has a great deli/cafe that is worth a visit.

If I should point out two minor negative things:
Pool area could be attended better. There were broken glass by the pool twice in the 4 days we stayed there. It was not removed in many hours. As this is a place you go barefoot, it's not nice.

The complimentary bar was not refilled every day.

Other than these two minor flaws, the place was just very nice!
I would love to come back!
