My husband and I spent1 night here celebrating our wedding anniversary, and we had a really lovely time. We were greeted at the gate and asked to fill in the necessary info out in the garden as it was such a lovely afternoon. We were served a delicious cappuccino at the same time and took our time to enjoy the spectacular view from the front garden.
We had room no. 3 which was the 1st room on the ground floor next to the dining area and reception...the room itself was lovely but there was not much privacy...there were people walking past our room all the time and the whole of the front of the room is glass windows and glass door, so the only way to have privacy was to draw the curtains which made it feel very closed in and dark, which I did not enjoy.
We enjoyed a lovely sauna in the spa which was fantastic.
Dinner was a 3 course set menu which we did not want as we had had a big lunch, but they were very willing to offer us something else small from their menu, which I really appreciated.
Breakfast the following morning was scrumptious!
Full continental and hot english breakfast on offer in the dining area which has beautiful views.More
