I travel a lot, but whenever I'm in the area the only place I stay is Middelplaas. I stay here often abd have never been dissapointed. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I always feel like I can find myself again when I stay here, it is just so beautiful and so peaceful. Have you ever stayed at a place and got the sense that it is blessed? There is a kind of tranquility here that is not very common in our busy world today.

Really enjoyed the nights stay, the rooms are fit for purpose. The room amenities were better then expected. We had a delicious breakfast spread delivered to our room, with really friendly efficient service.

My husband and I stayed here with extended family and friends for a winelands wedding. The setting is lovely with breathtaking views across the valley, there is ample space for large groups, rooms are large and comfy with most of the amenities you'd need. Some attention to detail would take this establishment to the next level. Clean bath mats, some bed lamps, small rug next to the bed, some heating (it was a very cold weekend), unlimited wi-fi, timely refreshing of the rooms.

My apologies for any inconvenience, Natalie. We service our rooms every day while guests are staying over. Due to the fact that your family were all in and out of their rooms the whole Saturday, the family members asked us not to service any rooms. We are in a poses of replacing the glass bed lamps with a stronger product. Anne-Marie, owner and manager.

The new guesthouse is well situated in the beautiful Paarl region. The rooms are stylish and the service was outstanding. Our hostess went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast served at our room was a bonus. Middelplaas is highly recommended for groups as there are many rooms but with the privacy of your own room, bathroom and kitchenette.
Room tip: The balcony overlooking the dam could be used as a lovely braai area

I really enjoyed my stay. The guest house has a very nice view, feels safe and was very clean. The thing that sets this guest house apart from others i've stayed in is the staff. Just chatting to them they told me about nearby activities and a brief bit about the history of paarl as well as the story of middelplaas. Thank you for an amazing time.
