My husband and I stayed here with extended family and friends for a winelands wedding. The setting is lovely with breathtaking views across the valley, there is ample space for large groups, rooms are large and comfy with most of the amenities you'd need. Some attention to detail would take this establishment to the next level. Clean bath mats, some bed lamps, small rug next to the bed, some heating (it was a very cold weekend), unlimited wi-fi, timely refreshing of the rooms.

Due to the fact that your family were all in and out of their rooms the whole Saturday, the family members asked us not to service any rooms. The new guesthouse is well situated in the beautiful Paarl region. The rooms are stylish and the service was outstanding. Our hostess went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast served at our room was a bonus. Middelplaas is highly recommended for groups as there are many rooms but with the privacy of your own room, bathroom and kitchenette.

I really enjoyed my stay. The guest house has a very nice view, feels safe and was very clean. The thing that sets this guest house apart from others i've stayed in is the staff. Just chatting to them they told me about nearby activities and a brief bit about the history of paarl as well as the story of middelplaas. Thank you for an amazing time.
