We stayed 2 nights was comfortable and relaxing breakfast was good. staff friendly and helpful. rooms were spacious. Property is well situated do visit nearby activities and there is lots to do. Cango caves and cango wildlife are also nearby to go spend some time and it can be recommended.

Room tip: rooms on the south side are quieter and the other side are sunny in the afternoon

This is now becoming an annual institution staying here. It was really good value for money. If you are used to 5 star quality this is not for you however if good friendly staff and good value for money is your cup of tea then this is a must stay at hotel.

We attended a sporting event in Oudtshoorn and was offered a reduced rate with a 'budget breakfast' at Oudtshoorn Inn. At breakfast we were directed to a filthy, untidy conference room away from the dining room. One table cloth had evidently caught fire previously and the other had dry coffee stains all over it. We were the first diners so it did not happen that morning. The carpets were stained and grimy and the presence of a papsak (foil wine bag) lying at your feet next to the food table remains a mystery. The breakfast was pitiful with not even water on offer (never mind a bit of juice, yogurt etc.) and when I asked for toast a little dinged up toaster appeared - needless to say out of order. I really pity the poor tourists who arrive by the busload to stay here while there are so many decent B&B's around the area. As far as the rooms are concerned: no fridge, aircon useless, 2 x Ricoffe and Cremora sachets daily, 5 channels on TV, lift is decidedly suspect rather take stairs, bit of a struggle with key in dated lock. There is much, much better value elsewhere in Oudtshoorn - stay away!

Property is well situated in the heart of Oudtshoorn. We were welcomed with friendly ladies at the reception. The room was very neat and clean. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The clean swimming pool was refreshing on a hot karoo day. Although it was a bit pricey for me, I think it was well worth it. I will definitely recommend staying at this establishment if you are in Oudtshoorn.

Room tip: Rooms on pool side are less noisy
