The 88 Baron van Reede Guesthouse was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are well furnished with very comfortable and huge beds! The breakfast was great, and the owners are hands-on people who's personal touch makes a big difference. Thank you Christo and Magda!! We will definately stay with you again on our next visit to Oudtshoorn.
Magda and Chris are lovely and warm-hearted hosts!! Everything was absolutely wonderful and the breakfast amazing! We had a wonderful 1-night stay!! All our rooms were clean and tidy and we felt like home. Thank you for such a warming stay!
Lovely stay in Oudshoorn at the Baron van Reede Guesthouse. Clean and spacious room, safe parking for our vehicle, cosy stoep outside our room from where we enjoyed a sundowner while the sun set over the beautiful Karoo. To be recommended.
Tip: upgrade instant coffee in room to filter coffee.

The rooms are very well designed and appointed, breakfast was wonderful and it's situated within walking distance of some of the town's best restaurants. What more could we ask for? Probably another night or two at 88 BVR that's for sure.

Our stay at the 88 Baron van Reede Guesthouse was a very enjoyable experience. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome with refreshing drinks and a comprehensive insight into the locale and beyond. The accommodation was very comfortable, very handy for the town and a stones throw away from two good restaurants. Breakfast was was very tasty with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend.
