Great value for money, real scrambled eggs made to perfection. Such a huge selection of hot and cold. Do go on an empty stomach because you definitely want to sample every single thing!

Added bonus is the beautiful view of Milnerton beach and Table Mountain.

We've driven past several times, so on a spontaneous Friday lunchtime we stopped by, without making any reservations.

We were lucky to find a table outdoors on the deck on a lovely sunny day with a spectacular view of the mountain. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Menu was large (breakfast, starters, seafood, pizza, grills, dessert) and detailed with many vegetarian options. We decided on the Mezze platter (without salami) and the Angelina Pizza (without bacon). The platter was large enough for two, while the pizza was not shy of toppings. For dessert, we tried the homemade Baclava and Belgium brownies - yummy!

With two rounds of drinks, coffee and tip, the bill was approximately R430 (about $30). A great outdoor dining area, good service with many dining options - will definitely come back for breakfast or a lazy afternoon drink.

We were a rather large group and were promptly assisted to a table outside upon request. The view of Cape Town is truly amazing from here.

My food (tuna steak) was however somewhat underwhelming and a bit dry, but the rest of the group was really happy with their choice of seafood platters or steaks and even pizza.

The service was really good.

We lived in Cape Town for 40 years and Maestro's was one of our favourites.
What a huge disappointment on this visit to find the standard of food and service has dropped so far.
Indifferent, slow, non-attentive service in spite of the early hour and only 1/4 to 1/3 of tables occupied.
Snails and calamari starters, kingklip and mussels main...all of it was so-so, a tad too greasy and overcooked, served with scant attention to presentation and detail.
This is still a great venue for drinks on the deck, with a majestic sunset when we visited (get there early to get a seat), although the Margarita and Mojito we ordered were of extremely poor quality... so best stick to a glass of wine or beer... and then best head off for a quality restaurant if you are in any way serious about food, drink and service.
