The lagoon is a V friendly place to visit with small to no waves and stunning views. Leisure island beaches are small but great for small kids and families. Water sports are V safe here and there are Restaurants all around to enjoy and eat.

Excellent views of Knysna lake, absolutely scenic. One can relax and enjoy the lagoon, and many restaurants to chose from

A lunchtime, leisurely cruise on the MV John Benn. Well worth doing which take you up to mouth of the lagoon. On previous visits I have seen dolphins in the lagoon but not on this occasion.

Travelling to this destination was a bit far especially if you coming from Cape Town but its all worth it. The People and surrounding areas are worth exploring and I will be coming to visit soon again.

The lagoon is actually an estuary and the second biggest after St Lucia in KZN. It is well worth a visit either with a private boat or paddle steamer.
