Needless to say, fish is the thing to have here! What’s different though is the variety of choice of cooking method. We rang up to book a table for the same evening and the only one available was at 5:30! Fortunately we hadn’t stopped for lunch so that was fine. It is a great place to people watch, is very rustic & laid back and our food was reasonably priced and beautifully cooked.

I went to Freshline Fisheries on Thursday 13 February 2020 as we were on a family holiday. When we stepped in no one bothered to assist us and I had to ask someone if we can sit down. So we were taken to a table on the far side and those waiters made us feel really unwelcome. I am not a racist individual but i feel we were taken to one side so we couldnt sit close to the others as we are coloured people. My daughter of 10 years old asked why we taken to a corner and why we cannot sit in the middle like everyone else. These kids are was never part of that era and neither have I been part of it. After getting our menus not explaining anything we were waiting for almost 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and no one bothered coming to our table. We decided there and then to leave that restaurant. Waiters needs to change their mindsets as we are past the apartheid era where coloured people are not allowed to sit close to white people. Please teach them that.

This is terrible, and we have never in 9 years had anything of this nature happen before. If you knew the nature of how we as a family function at Freshline you would be inspired. We are not at all racist and we are a very close knit family. We apologize if this is how you were made to feel. Our culture is that we are all one, and it is very beautiful. Again- Sorry! Ron

Even better than the last time ☺️Starred with Whitebait & Tempura prawns starters, followed by Dorado & baby Kingklip with a bottle of 2017 Slanghoek pinotage . Excellent

What a great, unexpectedly pleasant evening. This unusual restaurant is an absolute bijou that is completely worth a visit. Great food in a quaint yet gorgeous setting, that will totally surprise you. Take your own wine with, as they don’t serve alcohol. Delicious very wide range fish to choose from, done in various ways.

Didn't book so were very lucky to get a table, we were allocated an hour but that was plenty of time to enjoy our delicious food. The staff are great and the food is cooked to perfection. Even better you take your own drinks at no fee. Book a table so you won't be disappointed
