The drive off the main road to access this guest was steep but the views from the breakfast and pool area made it all worthwhile. The room was compact but provided everything you could wish for - even a beach bag with towels. the bathroom was modern and the owners went out of their way to help us out with any requirements. The breakfast options were numerous and we even opened Xmas crackers at breakfast on 24/12.

Room Tip: need to be able to climb stairs as main access to front door is staircase

We stayed one night in kysna during our garden route road trip and chose to stay at Villa Paradisa. This is the most beautiful guest house we ever stayed in with stunning views of whole of kysna - view from the pool, rooms, breakfast area,.... the view is just amazing from every space in the guest house. The room was very big, modern, clean.. much better then any 5 star hotel. In addition to being a perfect guest house its being run by the most friendly and caring couple who can help with any inquiry - booking activities, taxi, general info... The breakfast is being prepared by the owner himself which is so good that we asked to take some of his home made chili/salsa back home which he gave us with pleasure. All in all an amazing experience and well recommended.

Villa Paradisa is located at the end of a tiny and quiet dead end street close to the top of a hill of Knysna's western hill. We very welcomed by Marilyn, who along with her husband Martin, are the owners. Marilyn took her time for a conversation (her English is accent-free, which made it very easy for us Germans to understand) to share many things which you help better plan and enjoy your staying, which made us feel very comfortable from the beginning.
We had the Coral Suite, and I think this is the best of the four available rooms. Its design style suits the the Meditteranean design scheme of the Villa. The room provdes the space you'd expect, while the bathroom exceeded our expectation in size and style, with the shower beeing a highlight. The balcony is enormous and sports a couch, two chairs and a small table to enjoy the most amazing feature the Villa has on offer.

This. Fantastic. Panorama. Over. Knysna. Bay.

My wife and I have travelled many places, but we never spent a staying in a place like this! A rich choice of vines and beverages is on offer helping you to amplify your pleasure when enjoying the view over Knysna Bay after sunset with a glass of Pinotage on the couch of the balcony. We even forgot about the size of the bed - it is queen size, roughly 160 x 180 cm, which makes you feel "hmmm" in the evening, but "aaah" in the morning, once you have pull aside the curtains.
The next very special experience is breakfast - partly because the breakfast roo, too, provides a fantastic view over Knsyna bay, partly because of the surprisingly rich choice of excellent food to choose from (giving that this villa hosts rarely more than 8 guests) but mostly because of Martin.
Martin is a multi-talented artist, and one of his talents covers cooking. He stands up in the morning with a clear idea about what to cook for breakfast. Not only do you get a new idea of what you can make from eggs, bacon and all that, but every single idea the outcome is different in style, looks and taste. And every single time the outcome is exceptional, both in looks and taste.
Martin is happy to show you the art pieces he is working on, and this is a thrilling experience.
This is a perfect choice for everyone who wants to enjoy five star luxury in a very personal villa in an abolutely stunning location. A true gem.

The views are simply to die for, location location location. The whole stay is designed around making the guest feel so special, the aptly named suites are magical and even the breakfast is a thing of beauty. As avid holiday makers i think Tripadvisor is a fantastic tool to undestanding a little bit more about were you are traveling too but we find they often award excellence certifactes to easily in our opinion, but Villa Paradisa deserves all the accolades possibe. Thank you to Marilyn, Martin and their wonderful staff for a perfect holiday in beautiful Knysna.

We booked 4 nights at the VP and were thrilled with the whole experience. Marilyn was incredibly helpful with the many requests we put her way which made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Epic breakfasts cooked by Martin, and staff were very friendly and efficient.
