We travelled for one and a half hours to eat lunch at this restaurant where we'd had a good lunch last year. This time we were disappointed. The menu choice was limited; 3 dishes for starters, 2 of which were basic salads, the other marrow bone. For main course there was an aubergine bake, yellow tail, or rump steak. Also a choice of 2 charcuterie and cheese platters, for 2 people to share. Dessert was espresso and grappa, ice-cream and pear preserve or cheeses. The service was ok, no sign of management. If this had been a first visit it would have been fine, but for us returners it didn't meet our expectations.
