Exceptional Experience at The Marine at Hermanus!

Our stay at The Marine was absolutely unforgettable. The location on the sea front is simply spectacular, offering breathtaking views right from our bedroom window. We were incredibly fortunate to witness whales from the comfort of our room, an experience we will cherish forever.

The welcome we received was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The staff's friendliness and attention to detail made us feel valued and well cared for throughout our visit.

One of the highlights was the lovely afternoon tea. The selection of teas and delectable treats provided a perfect midday indulgence, enjoyed in such a beautiful setting.

The Marine Hotel is the Best hotel in Hermanus, hands down. The best part of The Marine Hotel is the customer service that truly goes above and beyond to make the guest feel welcome and special. It is in the perfect location, in the heart of the Hermanus and on the cliff path, very secure, huge rooms with the best views of the water, and the best, most accommodating service! This hotel is a must stay while in Hermanus. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was phenomenal. The treatment even better! A very special thank you to the most amazing Hlumela, who was beyond helpful in making our stay the best, as well as Patrick and Heloise, who showed phenomenal customer service and care. The care and attention provided made us want to return and stay at The Marine anytime we’re in Hermanus. You will not regret choosing to stay at The Marine Hotel! Also, we saw whales from our room!!!

This hotel was like a balm to our souls! Such a beautiful place, right on the coast and so calm. The lovely staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.

Marley, in the spa, who gave me the best facial I have ever had and the ever so helpful manageress, whose name we didn’t get. She arranged for another bed in our gorgeous room and we slept like babies for 3 whole days!
The breakfast was second to none and the pool was warm and such a pleasure to swim in.
