Our stay at the Marine was excellent. A very relaxed atmosphere with excellent service & wonderful staff. All meals we had were excellent, with an amazing breakfast buffet & cooked options. Our room was spacious, comfortable & quiet. The hotel is right on the cliff top so you can whale watch from the patio. It is also a very short walk to the shops & restaurants of Hermanus. Private parking with security is right next to the hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely stay on a lovely place. The hotel is located very close to the shore. Breakfast an dinner are excellent.

This wonderful hotel oozes old-fashioned charm and service, all to forgotten in the fast pace hotel world. Beautifully situated on the cliffs overlooking the ocean this wonderful establishment shows its true pedigree, with its outstanding team members, lead by the attentive general manager Melissa Theron and backed up by her Management team with the charismatic and Jovial duty manager Patrick, who is very much part of the fabric of this establishment, and the warm and caring nature of Tammy the food and beverage supervisor. Everything from the security on the front gate all the way through the establishment, the beautiful smiles reflect the dedication to the hospitality industry, all are a credit to the Marine hotel and are ambassadors to tourism in the beautiful town of Hermanus.

As a former hotelier, I would be proud and blessed to have every single one of these team members as part of my team.
As a regular user of the facilities even from a cup of coffee through to the fabulous meals they offer, they always welcome you with open hearts and open arms.
