For our last hotel in South Africa I chose to stay at Last Word Constantia.
I already had clients staying here on my recommendation (I'm a Travel Counsellor), it’s well located (less commercial than the V&A Waterfront where we also stayed), not too far from the airport or Cape Town but it’s also nearer to Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope and Kirstenbosch National Gardens that I wanted to visit.
Many excellent restaurants in Constantia.
Last Word Constantia is a hidden gem with only nine rooms and we stayed in the gorgeous family suite.
Excellent in size for our family of 5, I really liked the playroom area with wii console, puzzles, toys, books, TV (with Netflix etc), etc.
It was such a cool hangout spot!
The service is sublime, personal (Have you ever stayed in a hotel where the staff played football with your Children? yeah me neither but this happened at Last Word Constantia...), the pool area is so pretty, the breakfast is fantastic and the staff prepared the most amazing high tea (including a kids corner!) for our last meal in South Africa… 😍
Truly exceptional and it's a big thumbs up from me!
