We have enjoyed our stay in Steenberg estate. The service was very nice and the staff extremely kind. We were able to play golf several times, swim in the pool and enjoy the restaurant with a terrifically good menu and wine list.

This is our second time staying at Steenberg and yet again the service, staff, quality of food and attention to detail was fantastic. The rooms are comfy, with every amenity you need, the staff are all very friendly, remember you and you are treated as individuals, not a room number. There is nothing that's too much trouble.
As for breakfast, don't miss it... a great choice of food, which should cover all likes, it certainly did for our group and we can highly recommend the pancakes or the omelettes!
Whilst staying you should also make a trio to Catherina's for dinner and Bistro Sixteen 82 for lunch or dinner, or just a nice wine tasting, sitting outside is lovely there if you can.
We didn't play golf this time, but enjoyed it when we played last time, a nice and well kept course.

If a beautiful location is your desire then look no further. The Steenberg Hotel is situated in glorious surrounds with stunning buildings and picture-perfect gardens. The roses at this time of year are breathtaking. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the rooms are most comfirtable. The turndown service is excellent and the staff are very polite and efficient. The shuttle service and driver is highly commended. Highly recommended to anyone who seeks attention to detail.

What a great place,we stayed 7 night this time , easy to relax with plenty of choices of food, all being excellent, but I would highly recommend the tasting menu, excellent , the room was very spacious and comfortable all the staff make your time there very relaxing and couldn't be more helpful.Just a pity about the golf course this time , but we hope by December it's back to the wonderful memories we have of it before.

Absolut stunning place, nestled in a beautiful vineyard - a relaxing escape from the busy city (and still no more than 30 minutes to the waterfront). Nice rooms with attention to details. Perfect service and very helpful and friendly staff. Catharina's is a top fine-dining option with an amazing, creative and delicious cuisine - absolutely worth a visit (or two...).
