We can only say. This place is awesome.

Long time since we had such a great lunch. And it was not only the food and wine. Staff are friendly and smiling and they have time to talk with you.

Our waitress Lindsey was the best. So smiling and laughing.

We had 2 starters. 1 main and 1 dessert. Everything was perfect and so awesome tasteful.

Thank you for an awesome experience.

Thank René B

I will begin by saying that the food is truly exceptional - every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented....but far too small. I've never left hungry at similar restaurants. I would actually be happy if the tapas and dessert sizes remained the same, but our mains were just tiny. At R500 pp for food alone (the wine list is a total rip off, bring your own instead), I don't expect to leave feeling less than satisfied. The setting is wonderful, the food is full of flavour, our waiter was great. But you can get the same quality, type of food and experience at other restaurants without feeling hungry/ripped off. Wonderful place for a special occasion, but sadly I don't think we'll be returning.

We went here after it was recommended by some friends and were not disappointed. The menu was set, we picked 2 tapas out of 8 (I think), a main out of a choice of 6 and a pudding out of a choice of 6. My husband commented that they must be very confident to have such a small menu and they should be. The food was exceptional, all staff knew the dishes inside out and were able to give clear, accurate descriptions. The other highlight was the gin and tonic menu, there were 4 of us, we all chose different ones and all thought ours was the best! Fabulous restaurant, we’ll definitely be back!

A friend and I had a mid-week dinner here after hearing so much about it.

We got an Uber from Long Street in Capetown and it was very reasonably priced given the distance we travelled [we had a car but decided to not drive].

Foxcroft was lovely and busy when we arrived which added the atmosphere and experience. Both of us had three courses each which were all beautifully presented and very tasty. The drinks/ wine list was extensive and we were sure to put it through its paces.

It was quite refreshing to see that this place isn't too stuffy or over the top even given the calibre of food and experience that we enjoyed.

Whether you're staying in the direct local area or in Cape Town [or passing through] I'd certainly recommend a visit to Foxcroft.

Cost of a sit down dinner extremely expensive ..... tables are not even set well to justify such a cost .... portions small .... no service available inbetween lunch and dinner .... so unfriendly a place for the average person ... won't go there again or recommend it in any way ....a place for the well to do who don't mind being ripped off .... food good but not equal to the price tag
