One of the best sushi Ive had and their local sashimi is to die for! Peak times can be quite busy, be prepared to queue. Went 3 times during my stay in Cape Town to try the menu - didnt even get to their cooked fish dishes - something to try next time!

I have been eating at Willoughby's a few times a year over many years . The food and service had been consistently excellent . A restaurant is only as good as the last meal it served you . I had noticed the volume of the Oyster Shooter decreasing steadily over the past year but the Soft Shell Crab remained chunky and delectable. This changed on 31/1/17
The oyster in the shooter was almost stranded . The crab was in pea sized pieces - over fried and greasy . What happened ? ? What a disappointment . Service was still excellent but my complaint was pretty much ignored .

If you in the mood for a vibey, full, delicious sushi/ seafood experience this is your spot! The food is always fresh and quality! Great service as well! You can sometimes queue here, but the queue moves fast and there is usually someone giving wine tastings to people in the queue!

Went here for lunch didn't read up about it beforehand so had no preconceived ideas. We tried the tempura moriawas and the seared tuna salad plus prawns on crispy rice. Rice wasn't crispy but it was very tasty, couldn't fault the other dishes. Service was good but a little slow but we weren't in a hurry, it was very busy. It wasn't expensive by Uk standards good food and wine. Definitely would go back!

Well located venue which offers a good variety of seafood, especially sushi. mixers and wines are also good, with reasonable service even during peak hour (dinner and weekends).

Reservations recommended.
