Went to Pigalle at opening time on a Monday night to beat the crowd. Service was excellent. The live band was quite nice, background music that did not overwhelm the opportunity to talk. I had the prawn and langoustine platter which was phenomenal, the best langoustines I have ever had. My colleagues decided to split 3 entree's and one of them described both the calamari and prawn curry as "life-changing". They said the baby kingklip was good, just not as out of the ordinary as the other 2 dishes.
It is off an alleyway in an area of businesses that are closed by dinnertime so I would recommend driving (there is a parking garage) or taking a taxi. Walking there is not a very safe option. The ambiance reminds me of a 1950's supper club from the movies. It is always a fun place to go.
