Dining here and not having steak or ribs is missing the point. The great variety of different types of steak can be confusing, but the good news is all of the steaks are great and are matured perfectly. Chances are that it will match or trump the best steak you've ever had. Sitting outside and watching the vibrant Cape Town harbour scene is mesmerising against the backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain.
Service is slick, fast and highly efficient.
You've hardly sat down before the most enticing boerewors in a rich and delicious sauce is served as a complimentary appetizer with freshly baked steaming hot rolls. Don't turn it down, it's free and an authentic part of the dining experience. Best time to go is in the afternoon, in order to enjoy the harbour ambience. I often go in the late afternoon, as the changing light is perfect for photography. This is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the world.
Lunch would set you back about 35 US $ per person which includes two glasses of average South African wine, which would be excellent wine by world standards.
