Description: Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.

We had a fabulous evening at this restaurant. We were looked after so well throughout the evening. The team are a credit to the managers. I can't remember our waiter's name sadly, but he was attentive without being overbearing; friendly and funny yet professional.
So the service was spot on. But so was the food. I started with the incredible tomato tart. Not quite what I had expected it to be but the most incredible flavours.
I then had warthog which was flavoursome and well cooked (it's a bit like pork loin).
My partner had a smoky yellowfin which was wonderful (why aren't more restaurant dishes smoked?)
Overall a great evening, and with good wine.

This was a return visit after two years. Some parts of the meal were excellent but some almost inedible, such as the incredibly salty tartare.

Service is nice but the food fell short.

The desserts were ok, starters poor but mains good.

It’s a shame as it was one of our favourites last time.

We had a superb meal here with a great variety of dishes on the menu . We sampled both kudu and warthog which was an interesting change for the palate . Service was superb and the wine list top notch !

Savoy Cabbage is an interesting restaurant. It offers an interesting menu with several local game dishes. The setting is a renovated warehouse. The service is friendly.

Selected from TA reviews and well worth the visit. Lovely food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Excellent value compared to UK prices
