We were looking forward to some great seafood whilst in Cape Town and Baia did not disappoint. It's a large restaurant complete with a more formal setting i.e. Nice table cloths, glassware etc. There are outdoor tables however unfortunately as we hadn't booked and it was a Friday evening we had to settle for indoors. This was fine and even our table had a nice view outside across the bay towards table mountain. Service was very friendly, prompt and courteous. Food was also tasty , hot and I m guessing at the steeper end of restaurants in South Africa but still so much cheaper than at home. Our bill came to around £40 a head which included two starters, mains, one of which was a huge platter of langoustines, baby lobster and fish. Two bottles of sparking and a tremendous bottle of white wine.
