Family visit. We had calamari and salad starters. Salad was just ok but calamari was delicious and well cooked. My wife and daughter both had a prawn Mocambican curry main course which they both enjoyed. My son and I both had mixed shellfish mains. The lobster was okay, the prawns were nice but we both wished we had just taken a while plate of langoustines They were absolutely delicious and the best I've ever had. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive, as were the other staff. It was busy and the atmosphere was classy but definitely not stuffy. Lovely restaurant.

Thank Ken S

We had SO much fun!!
Great service, good food, nice atmosphere & welcoming staff.
The dessert menu was not too bad, but we will be back.

Serves really fresh and delicious seafood. Fine dining and pricey. But great views of the waterfront.

We arrived in Capetown in the middle of what news papers were calling "The mother of all storms" luckily we were staying at Cape Grace right across the street. We asked the concierge for a recommendation and she suggested Baia and made reservations for four. Great choice! The two women had a seafood special and an appetizer. They both loved what they had! The two men went for the Fillet - Excellent Steaks! Two bottles of wine later we finished our meal.
For what all we had I felt the price was very reasonable.

Based at the V & A waterfront in Cape Town, about 1km/ 0.7 m from Cape Town central is a better than average Portuguese restaurant.
Although on the expensive side the food is very good and ambiance great.
If you like that type of cuisine it is definitely worth a visit.
