Description: We serve Neopolitan pizza and Modern Italian-inspired food in an informal contemporary space in the centre of Cape Town. From our hand-built pizza oven from Naples to the fresh pasta we serve each night, everything we do shows our love for food. Our menu is small but diverse and we encourage guests to order a number of dishes to share with the table. Pop in for a quick lunch or relax and let our team take care of you for an evening you'll remember

Having been a little underwhelmed by Capetown's food scene my husband and I were craving some good old NY quality gourmet pizza and we found it! Also the pork belly ribs and honey glazed carrots were yummy, and the place had a nice little scene even for a Monday night.

Me and my girlfriend came here for supper, everything was very good, staff were friendly and the pizza's were very good (however, it is worth noting that they are not for the idea of altering the combinations, like adding or subtracting an ingredient to suite your preference) and came out very fast, Zucchini fries as a starter were nice too. The dessert menu was nice, but could definitely do with some dishes that appeal to more of a majority, all-in-all it is a very nice place for a casual meal.

We were looking for a place to have a light lunch and stumbled onto this place called Bocca in the centre of Cape Town. We were intrigued by the menu that was split into spoon, fingers and knives and forks. We choose the fingers menu. As the name says to be eaten with fingers!! We had crispy pork belly ribs with chilli and basil, Lamb meatballs with marinara sauce and Zucchini fries with herb mayonnaise.
The restaurant is Italian and also serve pasta and pizza that seems to be very popular as most tables were ordering the pizza's. We also had a glass of wine each and loved it very much. The prices are not cheap but the food is really very good and the wine selection excellent.
If it is a nice day in Cape Town make sure you sit outside and absorb the city atmosphere.
Really worth a visit if you are in town.

On the corner of Wale and Bree this restaurant is perfectly situated for a night out in Cape Town
Interesting menu and beer & wine list make this more than a spot for casual dining.
Bocca captures an eclectic trendy crowd

Having gone for drinks elsewhere and paid an exhorbitant price for wine, this restaurant was a welcome reprieve - 10 of us arrived for dinner quite late and they were most accommodating - firstly seating us upstairs however it was such a warm night, we changed to downstairs where it was perfect. The wine was beautifully chilled and my niece chose a cauliflower risotto with leeks and I chose a pizza and we decided to share. I have never had a risotto made from cauliflower so I was really curious. Both were delicious. The risotto was creamy and rich like traditional risotto and as a rule of thumb, one cannot eat a lot of it - the pizza base was thin and crusty and perfect. We couldn't finish the risotto so everyone got to try it - the risotto was cheap at the price - R72 and the pizza R98 - wine we all shared so that came in at R25 so I was pretty happy with my bill. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. Just one thing - the menu is small so it is not difficult to make a choice.
