Six of us were welcomed by the friendly staff and even though we haven't been to this restaurant for six months we were recognised and made to feel they were pleased to see us again. The sushi is amazing and four of us ordered one of the platters on special. It was excellent value for money. In addition we had a salmon hand roll which I highly recommend.
The other two guests chose from the Chinese menu - tempura prawns and sweet and sour chicken and they too were delighted with their meals. Afterwards Michael, the Chef, came out to greet us and to make sure we'd enjoyed ourselves. He also offered us Saki on the house which was a novel experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The service from our waiter was excellent. He was friendly, attentive and efficient and made sure all our needs were met.
Dining here was a real treat as our hosts were clearly passionate about their restaurant and their food. The background music was also very pleasant and not so loud that you could not enjoy dinner time conversation.
I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Fish Hoek.
