We spent a very enjoyable 4 days at Jardin d’ebene. Roland and Alexandra were wonderful hosts. We were upgraded to the Elephant Room, which was very comfortable. The property has plenty of public spaces (indoor lounge, covered veranda, pool area and garden) which means you have lots of room to relax unlike sone other guest houses which can feel quite cramped. The location in Tamboerskloof is very convenient.
Great location, super-helpful staff and truly amazing visual experience. We visited during lockdown Level 4 and the Jardin was an oasis of tranquility and positive energy. We had to order a take-out dinner due to the lockdown level, and Christof very kindly brought all the cutlery and crockery we needed out to the terrace!
The main thing we truly enjoyed here - is the feeling that you're at home!

The house with all its African accessories is amazing, breakfasts - are delicious...and the chimney in a room - the best bonus travelers may have (number 2 - is mini-bar in your house also worth noticing)))).
The part of the city is safe but close to good restaurants and cafes.
I definitely recommend this accommodation for everyone who wants to experience this "warm African hug" :)

We spent this past weekend at this guesthouse, thank you Roland, it was 100% plus! Location is very central for anyone doing the city tours. Close to highways, not far from the airport.
Staff catered to our every need, and we felt very special.
What a lovely relaxing place to stay. Friendly and very accommodating, a calm oasis just a short walk from the lively hubbub of the city. It was great having DSTV (I'm a football fan) and an honesty stocked drinks' fridge. Will definitely be back.
