I like to stay centrally in Cape Town & Dunkley House fitted the description.A warm welcome, lovely outdoor pool area & honesty bar lounge. Breakfasts great - lovely pancakes! We had a small suite with 2 bedrooms which suited us - 2 adults & child, with tiny kitchenette - amazing views up to Table Mountain & Lions Head. Easy parking outside - lots to do in the area - not far to town centre, gardens.Exceeded expectations.

We found the stay at Dunkley House most pleasant. Everything was neat and clean and the service was excellent. The staff is friendly and professional and the breakfast was well prepared. I would have no problem in recommending any of my friends to go and stay there and will definitely go there again on my next trip to Cape Town.

My room was very poorly ventilated. There was no way to open the window - it felt too unsafe. Didn't get a good night's rest unfortunately.

The breakfast was very good though and they even waited for me while I came back from yoga.

The property is gorgeous and the rooms could be too.
However, carpets need a clean, towels and linen needs a big upgrade.
In the middle of the worst drought in 100 years our towels were cleaned everyday.
The bathroom fittings are very outdated and things in general looked like the were in need of a clean.
Breakfast is good and staff are friendly.
It looks like there is no owner around.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Apartment with two bedrooms is more average but the double room we got the last couple nights was great. Walking distance to good restaurants and mall. Only downside is one of the breakfast ladies kept on bringing the wrong orders morning after morning. Other than that great staff
