Mzansi is an experience not to be missed.
The food is wonderful, but is only a small part of this amazing experience.
Listen to the live music, view the amazing art, but most importantly hear the storytelling.
Spend an evening in Langa Township and be immersed in its culture and history as shared firsthand by Mama and her Family.
One Love !

You need to go here. Change your plans and go! Make a reservation. Eat a great meal. Listen to wonderful music. Hear their story. Give something back to the community by having a meal here. Do not let anyone tell you it’s an unsafe area! These are good people and they take good care of you. (Watch your stuff in Cape Town centre but here they will watch your car and keep you safe.) We have travelled far and wide and this is now one of my favourite travel experiences. Not to be missed. If I am ever back in Cape Town I will definitely return - Mzansi is not a restaurant but a second home - go and see for yourself! Mucho amor y Pura vida!

Its just the funnest thing to hang out with Nomonde, Mzi and their family and friends. The food is pretty close to traditional, the best of it, so it is extra yummy. The story telling was special. And the music and dance was fun. Thanks for a great evening out. I will continue to bring friends and especially overseas visitors to Mzani when I show them around.

What a great experience - the food, the music, the art, and the story telling. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place after Mama Mzansi told some of her life story. We really felt like we were invited into her home and a welcome part of the Langa community for one wonderful evening - as corny as this may sound.

We almost didn't make it. On our way to Langa our Uber driver kept saying that he wanted to turn around just as we were coming to the Exit to Langa - despite the restaurant being 3 minutes off the exit ramp. Fortunately we persevered. It's unfortunate that the place has this kind of stigma but as other reviewers say, don't let the location keep you away. You're in safe hands and they make sure that you'll get home safely after having a wonderful experience!
