To be fair to this place I probably ordered the wrong thing which I did not enjoy as everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs. Setting was nice and staff were good.

The food, the athmosphere, the views, music AND fireworks were a nice start for the New year!
It was very busy but we were very happy to be here!

This was one of the very few options that were open. The food was ok. We ate there twice because it was close to our lodge. The seafood pasta was ok. Sirloin steak was ok. Yellow tail fish was good. Chicken and mushroom pasta was ok. Fries were good. Their shakes are vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup like a sundae.

The first night our waitress was lovely. She was funny and good company. The second night the waiter decided to include 18% tip on the bill even though there were only 4 of us. That was absurd but being on holiday, we didn't argue and obviously did not give him a separate tip like we did to our waitress of the previous night.

Located on the main drag through the little town of Simons Town. Close to Boulders, to the town museum and to good whale watching. There are also boat trips to visit the island with seals which attract the famous white sharks.

This restaurant seems to be very popular and probably by visitors to Cape Town because of the great setting. Seeing that it was cold and miserable that day the warm blankets available were a treat. The menu was average fair but a bit disappointing that Knysna oysters were not available this time of the year as it was the Knysna oyster festival at that time. Overpriced variety from Namibia was on the menu. The fish ordered was well cooked and very tasty. My choice of dessert was not available so we missed on that. Not my first choice in restaurants but on a par with most others on the Waterfront. Willoughby's might be the only exceptional restaurant there.
