Friendly staff, spacious room, good breakfast.
Air Conditioning was not good, the fact that a cheaper movable device is used.
Also TV shows only SAB channels, In a 3-Star, I don't see why you wouldn't have DSTV channels?

Incredibly poor TV quality - unwatchable. Very surprising in this day and age.
No reading light next to bed - bedside lamps not effective.
The key system for the room and the front gate works very well.

We spent a wonderful 8 nights in this cosy B & B close to the esplanade in Sea Point. Huge balcony room with a sea view. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the sea front, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Spur for awesome steaks. Cape Town is an amazing place to visit, with lots to do from climbing Table Mountain, visiting the penguins in Boulders Bay, to riding a taxi into town with the locals! We highly recommend Spring Tide Inn as a comfortable base to explore this wonderful City and all it has to offer

The guest house is located in Seapoint an ideal location for seeing Cape Town. Easy access to all the tourist spots via Uber or the Hop On/ Hop Off red bus. Seapoint is a district that feels very safe and is not over run with tourists. Plus it is wonderful to go down to the shore and stroll along the esplanade with locals walking their dogs, jogging or just enjoying the evening. But you had best be an independent traveler because there is no one at the reception even when you arrive. The breakfast is cooked to order and Irene and Jomilla are very helpful and will point you in the right direction for most anything. The ladies were wonderful even though that was not their job. They also directed me to the local restaurants where again 90% of the people their were locals. Location and staff saved this guest house from a lower rating.

Lovely family run guest house. The owners and staff were friendly and went out of their way to resolve an issue with the T.V
The room was clean and comfortable.
This guest house is in a good location for sight seeing in Cape Town.
