This was our first time to South Africa & Cape Town and we chose this hotel from the internet and booked direct. The booking was easy and the service was excellent.

As we approached Floreal House for the first time we had a great view of Table Mountain. At first we were apprehensive because their was security at the hotel and we were not used to this but in fact it was great as we always felt safe and in fact never had any concerns. The great thing was that we were able to park off road behind locked gates.

The hotel is an old property but was maintained in a great condition and the fixtures and fittings were of very good quality. We were immediately made to feel welcome by all the staff from the management, the maids and security.

Floreal House is a great location for all the attractions of Cape Town and is within minutes of Table Mountain & the Waterfront.
We had great views from our room over Cape Town. We enjoyed Floreal House so much that on our return to Cape Town at the end of our holiday we cancelled the hotel we had booked and returned to our freinds at Floreal House. This time we had a room over looking Table Mountain. A wonderful end to a great holiday.

Finally Thank You Natalie & all your staff for your help and advise, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were great as were all your staff.

I stayed at Floreal House for 3 nights, at the end of my trip to South African and can highly recommend it.

It's situated in a quiet suburb on the slopes of Table Mountain, not far from the Cable Car Station and is within the pick up zone for many of the tour operators.

My room was lovely, having views of the mountain and the swimming pool and I had no problem sleeping in the amazingly comfy bed. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble and the food, both breakfast and dinner, was wonderful and plentiful, especially the homemade lemon cheesecake!

I travelled on my own and felt completely safe and relaxed at Floreal House and would recommend it to single travellers, couples and families.

What a fantastic experience. Our family stayed at Floreal House for 6 nights, and cried when we departed. Our children, ages 8 and 11, stayed in a room next to our's and felt completely safe. The guesthouse is run by Patty and Paul, and they do everything short of personally tucking you in at night to make sure your holiday is perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with a buffet of cereal, fresh fruits, yogurt, and fresh rolls, plus eggs, sausages and a variety of other choices that will leave you prepared to take on the sites.

Floreal House is about 15 minutes by car to the Waterfront, and conveniently located to many local attractions. Parking is secure.

Patty and Paul are helpful with suggestions about places to see; and will help book reservations at resturants. There is a nice deli across the street.

Our family has travelled to many cities around Europe, and I can honestly tell you I would return to Floreal House in a heartbeat. It is, without hesitation, number 1 on my list of favorites.
