We ate at this restaurant twice while staying at the nearby Cape Heritage Hotel. The service was great and the food fresh and delicious. We tried 5 or 6 of the innovative tapas and they all exceeded expectations. Don't miss the pork belly or the line fish.

The decor is very trendy if not very comfortable, it is also noisy but thats part of the atmosphere.... The food was interesting and the service was impeccable but, on a sunday evening, in high season, when the restaurant is full, a tapas bar (spanish), to be told that the last orders for the kitchen are at 8:45 PM... I think it is pushing a bit. At 9:30 PM the kitchen staff starts making a hell of a noise to tell everyone to go home! Come on Cape Town, you live essentially from tourism and on sunday night you look like a small midwest town in America...

Good Day

Firstly thank you for taking the time to give us your kind words and am glad you enjoyed the Service and Tapas,

Our Closing times are 10pm for the Kitchen so my sincere apologies if you were told otherwise, I can assure you I will correct this with my team and hope you will give us another chance to show you all we have to offer,

This is definitely not the level of service that we commit to, we are very appreciative of our Guests from all over the world and strive to live up to and exceed their expectations.

Hope to welcome you back soon.

Kind Regards
Bianca Le Clos

There are not many restaurants open in town on a Sunday and I was happy to find out that La Parada was open and we booked a table. Love the vibe ( 80s at its best on Sunday afternoon). Great look and feel but the best was the food and service- both awesome. Had guests from the US who are used to tapas. They raved. Will be back.

Stumbled on this place after we tried and failed to crash Chefs Warehouse across the street. It proved a good alternative, good choice of beer and wines plus excellent tapas, couldn't fault the service.
