We had no other choice than to go and there. But the food was not that bad. They had a lot to choose from and it tasted fine. The service was ok and of course the view was something else :)

Should by online the ticket and prepare yourself to long lines without aircon. Once to the top - perfect scenery and fab experience.

I mean it's the table mountain - I'm a student so the ticket was not very expensive(thankfully for me) Now the queues can look daunting but it goes pretty quickly.

They take a picture of you at the bottom before you take the cable car which you can purchase on your way down but as nice as they look it is way too overpriced. Which is a shame since they waste printing the pics for you to see..would have been nice to be able to buy them without feeling mugged off.

We went up on the cable car to the top, waited for about one a d a half hours but it was worth it, get your tickets online, and book earliest car to avoid heat and more queing .

Think they said only 3 of these cable cars in the world (they have two of them). Although you have to wait in line even with a ticket it is the fastest way to get up the mountain (hiking looked like a real adventure).
