One tip is to book your table in advance. They are a popular restaurant- and you'll also know whether their restaurant is completely booked out as they are often used for private events. The view is amazing as it is situated at one of the highest points in Bo Kaap.
We were fortunate to have one of two tables right up against the balcony and enjoyed watching the sunset view of Table Mountain. On some nights their dinner is buffet style - it's random and often at the request of the large groups. If it's buffet night, like for us, they'll start off with three appetizers that are brought to the table. The buffet itself had salad, chutneys, lamb biryani, chicken curry, bobotie (one of the local specialties) and cape Malay style barbecue chicken. Everything was delicious - a bit of spice and sweetness. The only disappointment was their dessert selection, which was limited to vanilla ice cream. Total bill for 2 buffets, 3 sparkling waters, and ice cream was about 550 ZAR.
